About TripSync

You're given a computer capable of simulating thousands of unique dialog driven interactions between different NPC's on miniature tabletop world. The characters within these worlds are thrown into an environment of the users choice and given different identities which affects the narrative of the story. Simply connect a uniquely themed game cartridge to the computers input slot and click play to begin. Using neural networks, the stories begin with a vague initial plot which is then used as the pretext to the NPC interactions. The NPC's perceive your voice as their God. You're also able to purchase unlimited gameplay usage if you enjoy the game and want more.

Cleverbot vs Cleverbot in VR with really basic art assets and minimal to no action. It's a cool concept, especially with voice recognition and AI but the AI doesn't go far before it devolves into a dialog loop or else it goes completely off-script and wanders with no real destination. It's not even good as a chatbot. I've had more complete conversations with the actual "cleverbot" and I have seen some AI demonstrations that really looked cool, but you get none of that here. This has some potential to be cool but it's squandered on crappy art assets, and pointless AI. If you could direct the "Story" it might be cool but everything you say throws the computer off on a tangent and so it seems really scatterbrained. It's free, although they want money for the "full version" which I hear is only $3, but $3 is still asking a lot at this point considering what they give you. If they keep working on this and make it into some kind of cool interactive story generator, then it might be worth the money. Right now, save your money and go talk to cleverbot.
Before I played TripSync, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
As far as I can tell the actors don't actually do anything, which kinda defeats the purpose of playing this as a video game, let alone in VR. Love the idea, but needs a goal or purpose to be anything more than "haha, look at the silly chatbot."

really interesting concept, fun to mess around with for a few minutes. i'm curious as to what ai models they're using and if they're planning to open source any of this "game's" components.

Wow what a concept. this is such an interesting game. you have conversations with ai kinda like cleverbot but there are two bots and you can influence the conversation. Its barebones at the moment but with some different actions added on top it could be very cool. I would love to see more of this.
