I like this game a lot and for two days it was the only thing I wanted to play. But now nearly 8 hrs in and the first biome completely collected I have no motivation to clear any of the other biomes and get 100% to my collection. You made stuff harder and I need more crops and stuff to make bait or fertilizer for Sakura Shores or the Spooky one and I dont know why. I loved the first biome because i could do everything there, and the pace felt nice, but now with the new biomes I feel a lack of wanting to try because you made them harder with no real pay off. There isnt an motivation to complete anything because once you get to Sakura Shores the game loop is sooooo freaking boooooooring. Like? and having to wait till Collection Tier 6 to upgrade my watering can. BORING. BORING now i no longer want to play the game anymore. There is no incensive, there are no quests. There is no motivation to do anything. It sucks because i really liked finishing the first biomes collection in the book! It was fun and motivating and made sense but you quickly realize that the game loop is terrible and all you do is fish, water your crops and go to islands that alllllllllllll look the freaking game. N…

🎣🌱 Collector’s Cove — Game Review ⭐ Overall Thoughts After 72.5 hours of playing Collector’s Cove, I can confidently say that this has become one of my favorite cozy games to relax with. It’s simple, charming, and gives you just enough to work toward without making the experience feel overwhelming. At its heart, Collector’s Cove has two main focuses: farming and fishing. Your ultimate goal is to work your way toward becoming a Name-Ranked Collector by discovering different crops and fish throughout the world. What I really appreciate is how relaxing the game feels. There is always something to work toward, but I never feel like I have to rush. 🌱🎣 Farming & Fishing The main gameplay revolves around collecting crops and fish. There are four different regions to explore, and each region has its own resources, crops, and fish to discover. This gives you a reason to keep exploring because you can't simply find everything in one place. Some resources are also used for crafting, including things like: * 🌱 Crops * 🐟 Fish * 🪨 Rocks and ores * 🪵 Wood * 🧪 Bait and fertilizers As you progress, you can create different types of bait and fertilizers that help you discover the…

Recommended with reservations. I picked Collector's Cove up on a sale and for that I've got a lot of adventures for my dollars (compared to other games in the price range there isn't enough here to justify full price). Having said that I'll move on to the game play. To start with you get a boat being hauled around by a huge sea creature which is pretty cool in and of itself. There's farming and fishing and crafting but most of all discovery and adventures, which always gives a game one more push for me. For everything collected there's a normal version and the 'fabled' version which requires particular circumstances. I have to say, accidentally meeting the requirement was fun but having to create the conditions not as much. I mean, it's one thing to use a special bait to catch a special fish. It's all together another to need something sitting on deck to make that happen. It's cool to use special fertilizer or even butterfly houses nearby to create a special fruit, but all together something different to have to drag a particular tree through several different areas for however many days to get it. (Don't worry, none of this is spoilers as with certain conditions met the Compend…

A fantastic game, music and progress made the game 100% worth it. Enjoyed the 100% complete.

I think this is the first review I've ever written, but I felt a strong need. I absolutely loved this game. I really enjoyed the different biomes and loved to dress my character and companion to match whichever biome I was in. I loved collecting items and finding fabled crops and fish. It's the first game I've fully completed in years. The only critique I have is that the ending was a little lackluster.
