Cozy Grove

Truly if you want something worthwile out of this game find their artbook as the art style is it's only redeeming quality. The game is trite, it's boring, it's not just unchallenging, it's mind killing. The cozyness is just a mass of slow paced myriad of fetch quests as There Are No Other Kinds Of Quests in this game. Strangely when I'm frustrated with life beyond helping I play this game and the ridiculousness of it's absymal quest design manages to break me out of the stupor with the pure shock, that truly every session of playing this game is just as bad as the last.

its like a semi-gothic watercolor Animal Crossing collectathon-hiddenobject-questfetch. the game limits you to about 30-40 min of gameplay as far as what you can achieve each day. in some ways this keeps you hooked because it generally takes about a week of gameplay in between new character unlocks. i recommend it. cons - music is terrible, i play my own music as background. the mechanic to wait 5 min between crafting and receiving food seems arbitrary. grindy but the game balances this with cozy atmosphere and gorgeous artwork

This game is super cute, cosy, and relaxing, and I love playing it. The story is fun, and characters are endearing, and odd item descriptions have made me laugh out loud many times! The only issue I've found with it is that sometimes when I'm playing, it doesn't register where I click correctly, and no matter where my cursor is on screen my character starts walking south east, making it near impossible to do things. I'd say this happens 1 in 5 times when I load the game.

I tried, but I honestly wish I refunded it instead of giving it more time. It’s very cute, the graphics and designs are pretty and I don’t even mind the time locked progress, which seemed to be the main complaint I heard about the game. The thing I hated the most about it was just how boring the gameplay was, which was essentially annoying fetch quests in a very crowded and cluttered small island. Then repeating that every day for an hour or more, like a Sisyphus pretending it’s enjoying doing the bidding of the cute bear NPCs. When I noticed how long I spent looking for items just for a few pieces of dialogue I decided to dip and spend my time on something else.
