What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Look Outside is a visually stunning and musically thoughtful RPG that blends JRPG, survival horror, and life sim elements into a handcrafted experience that players found deeply engaging and creative. Players consistently praise the atmospheric design, detailed monster aesthetics, party dynamics, and the game's unique fusion of genres, though the reviews don't discuss common complaints or technical issues. Based on player enthusiasm, it appears worth purchasing for those interested in indie RPGs with strong artistic vision.

Every single part of this game is made with a love. I can't begin to give the game the props it deserves, if you like RPGs and horror it's an absolute must play. Every encounter, area, ability, and sprite is well made, the music sets the mood perfectly, and the characters are wonderful. I love being in my apartment and watching the characters bounce off each other. Each character you can talk to feels like a real person, and there's a lot of fun interactions to be had. The game completely changes with every play through and there's hundreds of hours worth of things to do. It's a testament to what video games can be and deserves all the praise it gets. Play Look Outside, you won't regret it.
Gorgeous story that unravels PTSD, love, platonic and chosen family, discrimination, and much much more. Worth every penny.
One of the best games to come out in years. Does the horror, RPG, and turn-based combat genres justice. 10/10 no complaints.
