You Will (Not) Remain

Pretty good! A short game with nice visuals. Story is pretty lacking and feels somewhat surface-level, but the fact a story comes together at all given it was made for a game jam is impressive. Some of the prose is a bit purple, but that's purely a subjective preference from me. LOVEEEE the way the game handles audio, Lambshank's barking being the synth is very novel and interesting. I liked the choice of lilac being the primary colour. Overall, you can hardly complain; it was a good use of half an hour! I would be inclined to play the developer's other games, were they to publish any :-)

It was alright. Short. Reminds you how life was like during pandemic

This is such a beautiful game. The way you can absolutely feel what the character feels even if no past information, like who is "she", is provided is such an amazing detail. I love the art, the lilac colour and the character's personality, it highkey reminds me of my partner. I would play it again over and over when I feel like I'm alone.

i played this game last night and i cannot for the life of me accurately remember things that happened more than 5 seconds ago. i might get something wrong here. oops. overall, it was an alright, short game, taking around 30 minutes to complete. i do enjoy the art and music (although the art was a bit hard to look at sometimes), it was mainly the story which threw me off, as well as some of the gameplay. honestly, i really did enjoy it up until the end. i wish more was explained in the story. i was excited to learn more, mainly why this creature is attacking the city and who "she" was. none of this was really explained. i also do not like the ending, it is... confusing, which is something i can usually enjoy in stories, but it does not sit well with me here, i think mainly because i do not have enough context for the situation to accurately form an opinion on it. i do understand that repetitive life, feeling like every day is the same. i would enjoy a game with that theming, but the way they went about it felt so... clunky? i am not sure exactly how to put it. ok end review goodbye i do not know what else to write here
