Lethal RPG: War is a free turn based RPG that feels like it came from the era of browser games but has enough content to be much more than a quick little adventure. I take control of Lethal and a party of warriors as I travel through a fantasy world, complete quests and fight different creatures. The presentation is fairly simple, but there is a surprisingly large amount packed into the game. I have 13 areas to explore and more than 50 story quests, so there is a proper adventure here rather than just a small collection of battles. The combat is where most of my time goes, and I like that I am controlling a full party rather than just one character. There are eight playable characters, each with their own abilities, weapons and armour, so I can build my group around different roles. The battles are turn based and give me time to think about what I want each character to do before the turn plays out. It is not an incredibly complicated system, but there are enough different abilities and enemies to make the fights more interesting than simply attacking until something dies. Incredibly good turn based RPG game for the fact that its FREE (back in the days it wasnt), game is simple but has ton of content and very interesting story for such simple and small game, a lot of bosses,unique attacks,weakpoints,playable characters and items-including consumables and tomes that can buff our playable characters or debuff/dmg enemies. Game offers NG+ but its exact copy of normal gameplay just with higher dmg,hp,mana values as expected. Whats sad is that story (especially ending) leaves more questions than it answers, there are zero clues about further destiny of Lethal or traitor Mage (real villain), across whole game there are some story holes that cannot be filled and answered such as the Arena Origins or information about several unique enemies or bosses, story itself is really good but description of all beings in the game is... well it does NOT even exist. Whole gameplay is quite linear-capture bastion>do its missions>eventually grind some materials if you're too weak and repeat untill you win.
