About Leman
The land of Leman is full of strife and conflict - but also opportunity.
Cassius rules the realms of man - a dangerous lunatic who believes that each of the four races in Leman were created by one of four Gods - their purpose; to battle and destroy one another. The last race standing shall be victors in this Great Game. Cassius intends to ensure this race is mankind, and his place at God's right hand will be guaranteed.
Meanwhile, the dwarfs are content to mine and research in their impregnable fortress, and the elves host parties and live in luxury, only occasionally casting uneasy glances in the direction of Greyhaven.
To the south live the orcs, breeding like flies, fighting, squabbling. Surely they are too disorganised to ever prove a serious threat to the other races?
Multiple game maps with bandits, dungeons, monsters and settlements - plus a number of special locations.
Choose your own aims and objectives. Guard merchant's wares, trade, get involved in Cassius's Great Game, turn to banditry, loot the ruins of ages past, explore far flung lands - your freedom is complete.
Fight bloodthirsty, brutal, turn-based combats with many different type of enemies (from bandits and soldiers, through to dragons and demons!)
Build a team of adventurers that can deal with any situation.
There are 4 basic professions (warrior, acolyte, rogue, and wanderer) that can move to an advanced profession on reaching level 5. (such as paladin, barbarian, ranger, assassin, necromancer, etc. 18 in all)
No two of your adventurers will be the same, with many traits (e.g. tall, lucky, handsome...) to differentiate them. As they gain in levels, they will learn new skills, giving them powerful new abilities (e.g. sword mastery, leap, heal...)
Later in the game, you can even recruit non-human and special adventurers!
Around 40 spells with a variety of effects. Summon beasts to your side, or flood the battlefield with flame!
A huge number of melee and missile weapons, armour and shields to discover. Tame and use the beasts of Leman to terrify your enemies! Maybe you will even find legendary artifacts, with powerful abilities?
Just exploring Leman can be hazardous in the extreme - but there are also about 50 missions that can be accepted in settlements - they range from the mundane (escort a trading caravan) through to the fantastical (vampire hunting) through to the epic (participate in an invasion of one of the other races...)

[h1][b]1.5/10[/b][/h1] Extremely bad "adventurer guild" game like Iron Oath (or probably Battle Brothers). Almost everything is shockingly poorly done. [h2]Pros:[/h2] - Music is actually quite good [h2]Cons:[/h2] - Game constantly doesn't communicate critical information. Like my characters don't say what their class can equip and gear literally doesn't say either. How am I supposed to know? - When you're moving towards a mission on the map, you can't seem to stop or redirect your group. They just mindlessly charge towards the mission even if it's a continent away - Combat is extremely poor. Everything looks the same, enemies look like allies, everything blends into the background. I don't know what clicking does because it changes and it doesn't tell me. It doesn't seem to automatically select the next ally. I don't know what's going on and there's no combat log or anything. Just a complete mess - Maybe I didn't get far enough, but there are no dungeons or anything, you just move from one town to the next and fight bandits - Unit text in combat is miniscule even with max UI/text scaling - Characters are extremely ugly - Everything else5 found this helpful

Balance feels off, needs map generation, QOL features, and worst of all; no 1440 resolution support. Game wrecks my monitors at launch and when I'm exiting it blinks everything and crashes my HDR. If you have 1080 and a single monitor, I believe you are good. Still, it's a much needed Battle Brothers clone. Game devs keep making clones of all the indie trends I don't like, so for once it's nice to play derivatives of a something I do. (Instead of yet another roguelike, card collecting FTL, auto-battling Slay the Spire-clone.)1 found this helpful

Great big squad strategy RPG. If you like battle brothers, you'll like this. It's got very similar mechanics, obviously inspired a lot by it.. But plenty of unique features too. Overall it's less brutal, more forgiven. As there is a non-iron man mode, which lets you save/load however you want. It's limited in that you only get 1 save slot, but there are 5 auto saves too, which happen around every hour or every combat. And there's magic, and if you choose the wizard start, which I recommend (most of my 60+ hours were using that start).. it can be very very powerful too. It's weak at first as it should be, but by the mid/end game, youll be able to light the entire battle field on fire which is awesome.. Also the fire spreads every turn, in a realistic way - it targets trees/bushes/houses more often than a blank ground tile. Or if its raining/snowing, the flames may go out sooner. Overall they last a long time though and spread and deal damage to enemies units enmasse thus this game has one of the strongest/most fun fireballs in any RPG ever. There's also some more story focus than battle brothers, with a few unique quest lines always available, (outside of the standard random gen …
