Lifeless Moon

The graphics are better than the first game (which is to be expected), other than that? It is lackluster in comparison. The puzzles are incredibly simple, there is no risk of death at all whereas the first game had several dangers, the gameplay itself was even shorter than the already short playthrough of the first title. A bit disappointed with this one.

Lifeless Moon is an atmospheric science-fiction adventure built around the unsettling idea that the most familiar things can become disturbing when discovered somewhere they should never exist. Developed by Stage 2 Studios and published by Serenity Forge, it follows two astronauts on an Apollo-era expedition that quickly transforms from routine lunar exploration into a journey through an impossible mystery. After discovering a strangely familiar town on the Moon, the astronauts are pulled into a situation involving abandoned experiments, displaced environments, fractured memories, and phenomena that challenge their understanding of reality. Exploration carries most of the experience. Instead of filling the Moon with enemies and constant action, the game gives the player large, lonely spaces where unusual landmarks naturally draw attention. A distant building, mysterious installation, or recognizable piece of Earth can become a destination simply because its existence makes no sense. This approach creates a strong feeling of isolation while preserving curiosity. This is a great game BUT it has bugs like if you complete it from beginning to end just after buying you end it up as if you only played 1 scene in the chapter selection. Aside from that don't expect great mechanics, its more of a story while you walk game.

I really enjoyed playing this game, just as I did its predecessor, Lifeless Planet. The atmosphere is unique, and the sense of isolation is portrayed very realistically. In any case, I recommend this game, just like its predecessor, Lifeless Planet.
