Squirreled Away

This game tries to incorporate key aspects of the open world crafting genre, and does none of them well. In co-op, the game is glitchy to the point of achievements not popping for everyone. In solo, the game just isn't that interesting or compelling (the end is also unsatisfying but I won't say more about that). Keyboard+Mouse vs Controller both work. While the game recommends the controller, I found myself having to go back-and-forth on the menu every time to enable scrolling. Inverting on a tree sometimes gets funny. Read on to know what you're going into, young kids would enjoy watching and/ or playing for sure... it just doesn't scratch an adult itch if you're familiar with the genre. It's good that the game doesn't have fall damage or care if items are on your inventory vs in a chest on the other side of the park (both are great features but also probably easier to program this way), but... there's no bosses and no way to label chests. There's no reason to build a proper base (beyond a platform). The hunger/ stamina mechanic is stupid; harvesting food costs more hunger than you gain (even when cooking it)... and is pointless when just resting on a bed at any time f…

My Girlfriend gifted me this game for us to both chill and play together and it really is fun! Despite the game being quite short, it's very easy to get the hang of. There isn't much in the game that poses much of a threat and the achievements can be obtained with relative ease. If you're looking for a game that's more of a chill, survival craft game with not much threat then I'd definitely recommend this one. Especially if you can play it with someone.

I'm only just scratching the surface of this game... only played for an hour... But the concept alone is perfect in for me as a Squirrel Enthusiast. I'm looking forward to exploring the world as a squirrel and seeing things from that perspective. Haven't really read any reviews for this but overall I think it's pretty good. I'll come back and edit my review later after I've played for longer

The perfect game to play with friends!!!!

Game is chill and enjoyable.

Some of the crafting was confusing yet overall meeting squirrels and doing quests was fun building was great fun although without snapping turned on placement can be hard , overall great game.
