The atmosphere is great, and as you progress through the map, the changing environments and different slimes make exploring and discovering new areas even more enjoyable. ❌ Cons The game can feel repetitive after a while. It could have been even more fun with multiplayer or co-op. Some areas of the map can also feel a little empty. ⭐ Final Verdict: 8/10

Ah, it feels nice to complete all of the achievements in 77 hours on Day 100 of the main game. I had a lot of fun with this game and look forward to playing Slime Rancher 2. [h1]Content Completion[/h1] - While I didn't particularly enjoy the plot/lore, I liked that casual players could "finish the game" by completing the storyline. - For those who want to achievement-hunt, you can continue playing after the story ends. - For game completionists, there's even more to explore, unlock, and complete at 100%. [b]This game appeals to different types and ages of gamers.[/b] [h1]Outside Help[/h1] - This game is exploration-heavy. While there's a basic in-game wiki, you're probably going to want to pull up outside sources on a second monitor with answers to your questions, the game wiki, and video walkthroughs. [h1]Rush Mode[/h1] - My favorite part of Slime Rancher 1 was Rush Mode - a challenge to earn a certain amount of currency with a countdown timer. It was exciting trying to optimize my actions to beat the challenge compared to the more stressful and anxiety-inducing parts of the campaign.
