About 100th Bug Brigade
100th Bug Brigade is an accessible, story-rich, tactical, team-based roleplaying game featuring very cute bugs in a very uncute time.
Expected playtime: 1 hour.
Don't let the Robugs win! Lead the underdog forces of the 100th Bug Brigade and defend your home tree! Though the battle is dire, hope rests with you!
Clever tactics utilizing each member's unique active and passive abilities can turn the tide of the war.
Possess your enemies, throw your allies, or put your life on the line for an ultimate attack. Use the ability tooltips to exploit every aspect of your team's abilities to overcome the odds.
Manipulate the battlefield to your advantage (or the Robugs will!).
Dynamic battlefields altered by your actions and the story combined. Retake conquered areas, revealing new bosses and environmental mechanics. But beware! If the Robugs can't chomp on you- they'll chomp on your defenses.
Understand the emotions of the 100th Bug Brigade to discover hidden strengths and weaknesses.
The Robugs may not have feelings, but your team does. Use clues from their dialogue on the battlefield to uncover strategies against the unfeeling Robugs. But if the Robugs don't feel, what motivates them...?
You are not alone! Though you are their leader, the 100th Bug Brigade will serve not just as your soldiers, but also your advisors during battle.
New to tactics or roleplaying games? Don't worry. The 100th Bug Brigade, and the development team behind them, have got your back. We designed the game to be accessible to new players, while retaining the depth of strategy that veterans expect.

I'm playing Steam games in alphabetical order, and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/NDX_Q_FSeH4 Prefer to read? 100th Bug Brigade is a short (1 hour) Fire Emblem style tactical RPG created by a group of 8 students that goes way harder than it has any right to thanks to the passion of the devs. The art is lovely, the setting is imaginative, the music is on point, and the gameplay mechanics are clever, if unbalanced. The biggest drawbacks are that the game is very short (only a handful of missions) and there are some bugs relating to movement and infinite AP generation. Don't go in expecting a AAA experience, but a neat way to see the talents of a group of students on full display. Student projects are never perfect, and while this is no exception, it managed to leave me craving a full game, so I wish these devs nothing but the best with their future endeavors.17 found this helpful
A truly charming game with gameplay that's fun yet I personally found it not hard enough (which mind you isn't necessarily a bad thing). You can really tell this game was made with love and passion and I'd love to see more from this world. Highly recommend if you're looking for a around 1h experience that's worth your time
game's beak (bug peak) Strategy RPG will never again be so buggy
This game is extremely charming. I'm always of the opinion we can have more insect related games. There are few minor bugs such disappearing movement titles. Regardless, I deeply enjoy worldbuilding, characters, and art style. I would love to see more of this world.
As a short student project, it's wonderful experience. it left me wanting a more fleshed out version of the experience and got me attached to the cast even if the small length forced the plot to feel rushed. and the art is beautifuland expressive. I hope to see more from these people and the world they've created.
The art style is fantastic. Very quick but tells a compelling story in the short amount of time. Battles were challenging but not too difficult. Overall very impressive for a first game and can't wait to see what the devs make next
