I beat the main story of Bug Fables earlier this week. Man...where do I begin? For starters, if you're not a fan of the modern Paper Mario games, I suggest playing Bug Fables. It definitely reminded me of the first two Paper Mario games when I first saw gameplay of it. That aside, this is just a fantastic game in general! There are a few overarching points that really grabbed at me while I was playing. 1.) The world itself =============== The setting and worldbuilding are great. The way Bug Fables uses objects that are common or mundane to you or I and twists them into the bugs' perspective is ingenious. For example, a broken toy shovel in a sandbox is a relic hidden in a desert. Leaves, grass, sticks, and pieces of trash make up houses within the first kingdom of the game. The little details like that are great fun! 2.) The characters ============== It's been a while since I've played a game that made me empathetic for the main characters to this degree. I can't go into detail here, because that would spoil the story and some bigger sidequests, but it was SO much fun to see the main characters mature and evolve over the course of the game. 3.) The music =========== I'm gonna …
Really good paper mario-esque game that you could sink hours into and has decent replayability with challenge runs and other things. Artia's quest was very chapter 4 ttyd
AMAZING GAME! I never got the chance to play Paper Mario so i have no idea how it compares to it, but it was great! Very lovable squad of goobers, the Hard Mode option gives you a reallyyy good challenge without being too much, and the story was very good! Sad to see there's no sequel yet, hoping to see one someday!
play bug game best game ever made
Haven't finished the game but so far i love it. The characters are endearing, the Paper Mario -like artstyle is charming and it's clear the devs worked hard on it and I'm eager to get all the achievements and in-game lore
Very cool. I like bugs already so I am biased.
