200 Hidden House Cats developed and published by 626 Interactive is a casual hidden object game that takes a familiar concept and places it within a fully navigable 3D space, offering a slightly different perspective on the genre. Instead of scanning static illustrations, players are free to move through a detailed house environment, searching for 200 hidden cats scattered across rooms, hallways, and everyday domestic spaces. This shift from 2D to 3D exploration gives the experience a sense of physical presence, even if the underlying mechanics remain simple. The core gameplay revolves around observation and movement. Players explore the house at their own pace, rotating the camera, zooming in on objects, and checking every corner for cleverly—or sometimes not so cleverly—placed cats. This freedom to navigate the environment adds a layer of immersion, as the search feels less like solving a puzzle on a screen and more like walking through a space and actively inspecting it. Each discovery provides immediate feedback, reinforcing the sense of progress as the total number of found cats steadily increases. However, the design leans heavily toward accessibility rather than challenge.…1 found this helpful
It's a nice game. I like it! It's very short but the game does what it says it does: find cats. lol. Be sure to check out the screenshots before buying. Zooming in is a bit strange and so is the rooms layout but its okey! It's a tad overpriced imo so glad I got it as a gift while it was on sale!
I'm a sucker for hidden kitties on sale. I openly hate paying full price for these things, that's a me problem because I'm cheap as heck, but I love them regardless. Only downside is that some of the hearts are hidden behind objects, so you're sometimes likely to click the same cat more than once when searching for the last few you missed.
No hint system. No countdown. No settings menu. The title screen is cutoff, and even after Alt+Enter the screen is still cut off, so if a settings menu exists, its inaccessible. Part of the hidden cat image of the house is cut off, so there is a short sliver of screen on left and on right that is inaccessible to search for cats.
Very simple, fun and relaxing. Just find the cats in all the different rooms. The graphics are wonderful. Great for all ages.
Not too bad for the price, but it feels more like someone wanted to make cute low poly art and just threw some cats in there to make it a little game, Its cute but the UI and all other elements are not as visually pleasing like the effort put into the little rooms. In my experience I also noticed I can not move the camera with my mouse but had to use my keyboard. I would have also preferred to have sound sliders for the music and the cat sounds separately I wish I could give this game a mixed review, on discount its okay but I definitely wouldn't want to pay more than 0.60 euros for it.
