4 Seasons Runner is a simplistic arcade runner with minimal visual polish and repetitive gameplay that feels like a quick weekend project. While some players find it offers a cute aesthetic and fast 100% completion for achievement hunters, most criticize the low-quality animations, cluttered visuals that obscure obstacles, lack of depth, and poor technical implementation like broken pause functionality. The game is best suited for only a few minutes of casual play, with many viewing it as a cash grab that relies on cat marketing rather than substantive content.
This is a god awful "baby's first game" project that one would make in a weekend - it never should've seen the light of day let alone be sold for money. The animation for the cat is two frames, there are varying pixel sizes, the art is low quality, and the UI is all over the place. The actual game consists of a single static background and the same couple obstacles to infinitely jump over. You get to listen to the same short loop ad nauseam. The achievements require you jump 840 times, which is absurd. No one is going to grind this for that long or even play it for more than a couple minutes at most. Luckily they didn't program them correctly, and you can just spam space bar on the game over screen to 100% it in a couple minutes. There's also no way to close the game without alt-tabbing out.3 found this helpful
4 Seasons Runner is a very small arcade runner with basic controls and simple mechanics. You run, jump, and avoid obstacles while the seasons change in the background. The visuals are simple, and the gameplay doesn’t evolve much over time. It’s fine for a few minutes of casual play, but there isn’t much depth or variety to keep things interesting for long. This feels more like a quick distraction than a game meant for longer sessions. 🏆 Completionists & Achievement Hunters: All achievements can be unlocked very quickly, in about 5 minutes. The goals are straightforward and easy, making this a fast and painless completion. In terms of value, the game is acceptable for what it offers, as long as you don’t expect much content or replayability. It’s mainly suited for short play sessions or quick achievement runs.
Nice achievements, fast to 100%. The game is a bit hard on the eyes as there are a lot of colours in the background and it is a bit hard to see the obstacles because of that.
Super cute game, pretty addicting once you get into the rhythm and the letters for the achievements are SOOO CUTE! ♥

Don't get fooled by the cat. You would think game devs recently (especially after the popularity of Stray) tend to use cats for marketing purposes, something like "you see a cute cat and buy the game", and you wouldn't be wrong, this game does the same, because the game is so bad, there is literally no walking or jumping animation, the jumps are clunky, pausing with keyboard doesn't work, the Achievements are boring (only "Jump X times" Achievements + typical letter Achievements to attract people who design their profiles). Conclusion: This is just a cashgrab game made in less than 5 minutes.
