About 4PM
4PM is a short, narrative driven game, made by one person as an attempt to tell a real, thriller story in the form of an interactive experience. It has high production values and a cinematic style. It is, with your support, a first in a series of smaller, narrative driven experiences, that spare no expense on audio-visual style.
Basically a very short story about drug addict. Not very immersive as the experience is way too short. Camera is very blurry and might feel kinda nausea but it somehow depicts the atmosphere. I wouldn't say it's worth playing but you can still watch it.
10 found this helpful
A very short story, around 25 minutes, about an alcoholic woman confronting her choices. As per the description, it's more of a narrative presentation that a traditional game with mechanics. The game simply isn't long enough to develop an even remotely engaging story or interesting character(s). With the time it did have, it developed a surface level and uninteresting narrative. The only mechanic present was annoying - sneaking out of the office. Your crackhead looking boss will catch and teleport to you from twenty feet away or if he sees you out of the corner of his eye. You're then forced to watch the cutscene of him reprimanding you every time. The game is also killed by the movement and camera. You move very slowly with the camera head bobbing up and down. The camera is also constantly blurred - maybe to present being intoxicated or something, but either way it doesn't look good. The story culminates with you choosing whether to go to the bar or go to the roof. On the roof, you have to talk down a guy you've been having an affair with. It's a cliché "she took the kids" moment - again, the story lacks depth. That's the end of the game... The only entertaining moment for me …1 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/khbCLmqVtpE Take on the role of a woman struggling with her alcohol addiction that portrayed in very simplistic and over exaggerated vignettes.1 found this helpful
This is pretty much an unplayable mess. The character walks using the incredibly short bunny hop method which makes me want to vomit.
A pretty short 30 minute interactive experience. Quite entertaining so i generally recommend the game. But 3 Euro for 30 minutes isnt´t much game for your money so better wait for a sale.
I finished the game before I finished my beer :(
