60 BPM

So basically I bought it thinking it was just another simple one-button rhythm game, but ended up spending the whole evening hooked on it. The first few levels were pretty easy, but things got real after level 5 when the tempo picked up and the beats became even harder to hit. Love the music, btw! Tips my hat to the dev team, even tho not being an easy gamer. 5/5 would play again.

Good game for Rhythm lovers. My 1st thought is it will be easy but it's actually not. With spec mode, you have to try hard to pass. Worth a try.

$7 for a (bad) mobile game that has in-game purchases for currency. This is disgusting.

Updated review: I had originally not recommended this game based on there being microtransactions and a couple bugs that I had found. The devs then responded within a day to say that they were removing the microtransactions and had fixed one of the bugs based on my review, and further that they had implemented a feature I brought up was lacking. Now I am re-writing this review and changing to recommend based on that alone. I am always willing to support developers who are so responsive and open to feedback. The game itself is solid and fun. If you like one button rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven this will be a good game to pick up. The only slight downside is that there are only four scenes, but each one has ten different songs (plus three "remix" songs), and they have a wide variety of song genres. The scenes that are there are varied and fun enough that it isn't really an issue though, and the amount of content is more than good enough for the price.

For those who thought Melatonin was too easy. If you are looking for something like Rhythm Heaven, please get Melatonin and the demo for Bits and Bops (this was written before the full game's release) before purchasing this game. In my personal opinion, both games execute the feeling of Rhythm Heaven better than 60 BPM. Things I wish were different: Option to disable the timing bar all together. On some levels, I find it more distracting than helpful. What is the point of interesting visuals if you're going to look at the bar anyway? If I wanted to look at a bar, I'd play Rhythm Doctor. Circles appear earlier on world 3. Some beats are so fast it seems like they are more about reaction time than rhythm. If there was a way to predict how fast the next shot is going to be, it was either not explained or I missed it. As of level 3-5, I only have like 50 gems. The cosmetics feel very out of reach or end game. (As of writing this and playing the final levels, I only have a little over 100.) Complements: The art style is quite good. Poorly optimized, looks like a PC port of a mobile game, but there's one thing a rhythm game needs; to not freeze, lag, and skip beats. And this game does that in abundance.
