"PolyTap" was an attempt to make a dumbed down rhythm game where you tap the corresponding key whenever a specific shape hits the shape templates (the screenshots make it pretty clear what's going on). So this is another episode of "I Can't Believe It's Not Adobe Flash" infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of video games everywhere just by existing. But wait, there's more... the developer didn't bother doing any testing so the controls don't work, making this unplayable. What a disaster. Or a blessing? This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but …2 found this helpful
The keys don't even work.
It doesn't really work.
Finish review on my youtube channel Ryu Potter. cool simple
Guys I found the source code for the square hitting logic if (keyboard.pressed(square.keybind) && note.type == "square") { note.delete() hearts -= 1 handleGameoverLogic() } /j Ok but seriously why does hitting a square make me lose a heart every time, I don't even miss it just does that
