A Special Place In Hell

"A Special Place In Hell" is a garbage non-free dead PvP brawler. The developer claims this is meant to look lika a 4 bit Atari 2600 console game... but it looks nothing like it, the pixel placements are all wrong. It just looks like crap. Of course, there's no players due to the godawful quality, and the funny thing is the technical delivery, while some of the worst on Steam, isn't even the worst thing about this dead "game". The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. Very fun game! Simple game where you get to hang out and hate your friends in harmony.
