Abstract

"Abstract" is a dead Unreal asset flip, Digital Homocide style. The developer took a bunch of Unreal Marketplace assets and threw them into a blender. Some half baked attempt was made to create a PvP arena shooter out of this, but it failed dismally. There's no players, this is a dead wreck of a game, doing nothing but polluting the free section of the Steam store. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

[h1] Can't Thank the bus Driver [/h1] Fornite, Fort night, For Knight, Epic, Call of Duty, etc. It's the sequel to your favorite A B S T R A C T shooter, you know, it's everything you could want? Kill streaks, third person, versus mode, idk what cooperative mode there is, I've never seen it, and zombies ? This seems strange, the only thing I can find, is these 7 minute games where you're fighting bots because nobody is playing this game. Why is it that these games never even get a chance? Is everyone really playing every new COD that comes out? Is Fortnite still the game that everyone and their mom is playing? Will Dr.Disrespects game even be played? Only time will tell, but this thing has been given a good 3 years already and calling it dead, would imply that it ever lived. But like a bizzaro version of Frankenstein's monster, only love was missing and the beast never woke from it's slumber, and it was saved from the absence of life.

What the ♥♥♥♥ kinda bridge is this?

It's a first major project attempt by a single developer. It excels at that purpose and despite being a project no longer being actively developed, the developer still provides support. It took less than 10 minutes to get answers on Facebook from the Abstract Official account. Otherwise, this is a rather plain TPS with coherent assets, some in optimization issues, and maps of a variety of quality levels. There are bots and you can still play the game at least. If this was AAA title, it would get a thumbs down without much thought. It is in need of more content to make it a middling experience, as well as optimizations, touch up s on graphics and sound, additionally gameplay modes and/or story, etc. Best of luck to your future projects!

Игра "Abstract" — это необычная головоломка с минимальным геймплеем, но глубокой механикой. Простые правила и абстрактные визуальные элементы создают атмосферу медитативного дискурса. Однако отсутствие четкой цели и повторяющиеся уровни могут наскучить. Подойдет тем, кто ценит творческие вызовы и не боится экспериментировать. В целом — интересно, но не для всех.
