Even if we were to gloss over the incredibly scummy business practice of delisting the game and re-releasing it while asking customers to pay for the characters for a second time, I can not say that DoA6 is something of a must play specifically for fans of fighting games. It's an established franchise that seemingly appeals to it's own fans more than it ever tried branching out to become a better version of itself. If anything, this game's worthy of a mixed review, but the Last Round move alone is reason enough to not recommend it.

This is a completly pointless product. It adds basically nothing, its maybe looks better in some places but is much harder to run? no improvements to net code, no new modes, you have to buy dlc over again for some reason. if you go the core route you have to rebuy characters. I was looking forward to 7 but i might be out of this franchise now. Team Ninja should be ashamed. i loved 4, and played a good bit of 5LR 6 was ok, this is a joke compared to 5LR
