About Samson
Samson comes home to the worst streets of Tyndalston, a place that built him hard and never forgave him. Muscle, speed, and nerve decide who stays upright. Close-quarters fights, tight corners, and no room for hesitation. He learned violence before he learned mercy, and the city hasn’t forgotten. Every clash matters. Every hit is meant to break or be broken. You cut through alleys, rooftops, and backroom dens designed to keep you moving, not sightseeing. Tyndalston shapes how you fight, climb, corner, and vanish. It’s familiar ground, but never safe ground. Cars are not set dressing. They’re blunt instruments. You rip through the outskirts and industrial wastelands in battered machines held together with scrap and stubbornness. Ram, drift, smash, or outthink whoever chases you. Nothing here is clean. Samson’s debt hangs over everything, and his sister is the pressure point his enemies squeeze. Time is short, and the bill keeps growing. This is a focused, brutal chapter in his story, built with intent, no excess, no padding. He didn’t return to entertain. He returned because this is the only place where he can fight his way out.Your debt grows by the hour, and the people holding it squeeze harder every day. Every job, every dollar, every choice cuts a path forward or shuts it down. No do-overs. No safety net.

As much as I want to like this game, I can't play it long enough to enjoy it. I was able to get through the tutorial with no problems and thought "Man, I don't know why so many people have such a problem with this game?" Well soon after I found out. Every time I'd get going it would just crash, and not occasionally, probably every 5 minutes. Doing an get away driver job, crash! Doing a debt collection, Crash! Answer the house phone, CRASH! GOING TO BED? YOU GUESSED IT! CRASH! I'm not sure if it's my specs but I doubt it is, I've tried every work around and adjustment to make this game *playable* to no avail. And like I said I want to like this game, but now over 3 months later after release, the fact this game is still in such a state is astounding. As I write this I have already requested a refund, but I hope sometime in the future I can return to this and actually play it in a STABLE state at the very least. This game has so much potential and every bit of it is untapped.3 found this helpful
Samson is an open-world action game that wears its scars proudly. Developed and published by Liquid Swords, the title drops players into the unforgiving streets of Tyndalston, a city that seems determined to consume anyone who calls it home. The story centers on Samson, a man returning to his troubled hometown with a single objective: save his sister while staying one step ahead of debt collectors, criminals, and the law. The premise is simple, but the game uses it effectively to establish a constant sense of pressure that carries through nearly every aspect of the experience. What immediately stands out is the atmosphere. Tyndalston is not a glamorous playground filled with endless activities. Instead, it is a grim and oppressive environment defined by deteriorating buildings, narrow alleyways, and a feeling that every corner hides another problem. The game's day-to-day structure reinforces this mood through mechanics that require players to meet debt payments while managing their limited actions. Every decision matters, whether it involves taking on dangerous jobs, exploring the city for opportunities, or avoiding unwanted attention. This approach gives Samson a unique identity …3 found this helpful
100 percent, non gamer rage, head up butt included lol. I will start out by saying the price point is 100 percent fair. the world isn't very big, but the side content is very dense. People say that the driving is clunky and unwieldy, but it seems like that gamers today forget that they are driving a... car? Or gamers judging the driving have never driven a car in their lives. Car drives like a car. The fighting works fairly well for what it is, but I will say that there is no... directional combat, if your character is facing away from where you are moving your left joystick, he will attack where he's looking instead of where he's trying to go. I feel like for what they are going for, they almost NEED a lock on function, but they just.. don't have it? OR they could just make it to where samson is attacking where the joystick is telling him to lol. But the fighting is fun overall. You want some breathing room? Cool, throw a guy against a wall, and beat the other guy's ass. I will say though, the mid fight healing mechanic has caused me quite a bit of grief, you are locked into staying still, and are not allowed to move for an entire like.. second. Which, may not seem like a lo…1 found this helpful
Man this game has so much potential but unfortunately after 2 hours i just had to refund this. The combat is very awkward and extremely glitchy. when the punches actually do land it feels great but it feels like the game is still in early alpha phase of something. Another huge focus of the game is the driving, the driving feels so awful and clunky its very unresponsive especially when trying to take down other cars. It also feels like the cars have no power or torque at all i can slam down on the gas and the cars just move at a snails pace, I absolutely love the world that samson is set in. It is very dirty grimy but has a bit of a charm to it as well the graphics were stunning with little to no texture pop ins it definitely feels optimized. I also didn't mind the voice acting or story but the gameplay is just so awful its really tough to move past for me. Hopefully the next game this company makes they can actually work out the bugs and make it actually feel more polished and they would've had an absolute banger on their hands.
"we have gta at home" kinda game
Unoptimized
