This game is sick! I absolutely love it! Just got done with my second win, played it many hours straight now, lol. I know it shamelessly copies the aesthetic and flow of Balatro, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It's fun and addicting, especially if you have an itch to play chess, but not a full game. You end up playing some mini chess puzzles with the "Gambits", which are similar to the Jokers in Balatro. It makes for some interesting sessions. Having said how much I've enjoyed it so far, I want to leave some of my thoughts on how things could changed to maximize the game's potential. You can tell a lot of care and passion went into the development of the game, so to the devs out there, if you see this, I hope it's helpful / constructive feedback. Suggestions on the graphics and interface: - I think some of the animations could be punched up a bit. For example in some places things look a bit linear, whereas in Balatro the animations "pop" a bit more. Overall I think the aesthetic is 90% of what it could be, maybe with another pass on the animation curves it could be spiced up a bit to drive home those dopamine hits when you get a new piece, Gambit…1 found this helpful

Tons of fun , not pure chess but chessy enough to be addictively entertaining in replayable short bursts . I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying the mobile version
