Select a flagship and embark on a journey across a universe on the brink of annihilation. Construct a deck of ships and science, obtain powerful artifacts to enhance your strategy, and make tough choices for the good of the galaxy. Warp across sectors, battle hostile factions, and face impossible odds as the universe itself collapses around you. In Ace of Space you take the roll of Flagship Commander on a desperate mission to save the galaxy from an all-consuming cosmic entity. With each sector you enter, you’ll encounter distinct factions, from the ruthless Sovereign Imperium to the elusive Venom Syndicate and the nature-bound Verdant Dominion. The stakes are high, and every choice you make could be your last.But there’s more than just war—time and space are unraveling, and an ancient, unstoppable force is at the heart of it all. Will you attain the strength and synergies needed to stop the Oblivion Nexus, or will you and your crew be lost to the void?

  • Unlock: Progress unlocks artifacts that strengthen future runs. Defeating a boss grants access to that faction’s starter deck. Each discovered card is added to the compendium.

While the idea of merging autobattler with deckbuilders isn't new, what is new is the addition of physics based combat. Fired missiles can be thrown off course by gravity stations or even redirected back to the enemy, bullets can miss targets because they are moved out of the way, ships can bump into each other and you can even yeet boxes into space and watch them gently bounce off of flagships. Nice. The deckbuilding feels satisfying as you build up your fleet that combos well together. Together with the physics part, it makes battles fun and positioning becomes critical to winning. While they are fun, there also too many of them, extending the run length past the point where you'd be still deckbuilding. The game also has performance issues when there are too many ships on the screen. This happens rarely or at least briefly, but you can see it in action if you leave the main menu running for a…

NGL this game rips ass! You really feel like you're in space - if only it was a strand-type then it would be a mastapiece Still, 5/5 shmoney stars - please give this to your closest friends and see who can build a bigger deck.
