The atmosphere is nice and it delivers the colony feeling, but it ends a bit early. Still, the foundation feels solid. It can become much better as it develops.7 found this helpful
I liked the visual saturation and the overall atmosphere. The character designs also fit the theme of the game nicely. The colony building and resource gathering aspects feel enjoyable during the first few hours. The downside, in my opinion, is that after playing for a few hours, the game starts to feel a bit repetitive. After a while, it feels like there are no new buildings to construct or different systems to discover. With more buildings, production options, and long term goals in future updates, the game could become much stronger. Overall, it’s a relaxing Early Access game with good potential3 found this helpful

After the Crash : Colony is a science fiction survival management game that combines colony building, resource gathering, and long-term strategic planning within a hostile alien environment. The core gameplay revolves around balancing survival with expansion. Players begin with only the most basic resources and must immediately focus on food production, shelter construction, and maintaining the safety of their colonists. Every early decision feels important because supplies are limited and mistakes can quickly spiral into larger problems. Expanding too aggressively can drain critical resources, while being overly cautious risks slowing development to the point where survival itself becomes difficult.
