Akuro & Bahaku 2 : The Ultimate Treasure

I played the first Akuro & Bahaku and really enjoyed it for its cute and fun minigames. This second installment seems similar, but it isn't. It's a "visual novel," although the plot is tender and emotional, the playable part is completely missing. It all boils down to an enormous amount of dialogue, sometimes long-winded and boring. The minigames and item search are gone, only small sections appear here and there. The music is always the same and repetitive. I did NOT like it, it's not fun, I got bored, the only interaction is clicking and clicking to scroll through long sections of dialogue. I do NOT recommend it, play the first one. Although the story follows the same two protagonists, it doesn’t really continue from the first part. Instead, it feels more like a reimagining. It begins with Akuro, an ordinary-looking human boy who is actually an outcast from a humanoid, cat-like society. He tries to fit in by crafting ears and a tail out of straw, but the other kids ridicule and bully him relentlessly. Eventually, he’s driven to live on the streets and ends up working in a mine. His situation changes when Bahaku, a young cat treasure hunter, rescues him and takes him on as a partner. Gameplay doesn’t change much from the first part. It’s still a mix of story scenes and simple puzzles, but everything feels more streamlined. You never spend too long on any one puzzle, and the story moves forward at a brisk pace. Each chapter plays out as a sequence of images paired with short narrative moments and easy tasks that unlock the next scene once completed. Everything is controlled with a mouse, and most puzzles are straightforward. You might click on highlighted icons or piece together a simple image. Very cute and a bit sad. Love their interactions and background. Art in the game is very good. Bahaku is very muscular and hot (like a more mature Kogenta for those that know :3) It's great to see a story game modeled like shonen AI mangas with protective big bro / mentor energy.

This game, just like the first, was so wholesome! I'm slightly confused as to whether the game is finished, but the puzzles were reasonable in difficulty. I'm really grateful that you're continuing to produce these fun games! such a cute couple!

I really like it!!!! the relationship between Akuro and Bahaku is so warm and beatiful,I can't stop smiling when see this 2 together So cutee. But the Chapter 4 is a bit long because of farming If you want to play you may waste around 1 hour on this chapter. And at first I got bad ending was so shock....I didn't know how to fix it but if some on face a problem like me you need to find the NOTE in Chapter 4 buy complete the book shelf AND In chapter 9 When in the Final dungeon You will see the Art you need to rub it to see the answer that ALL
