Touhou: Beyond Gensokyo

Update 2: Finished the game, everything below still applies. This game was a massive disappointment. Also, putting Nano Banana (an AI image generation software) into the credits was hilarious. Update: I think I'm getting close to the true ending (if there even is a true ending), and this has gotta be one of the most boring VN's I've ever played. Nothing, and I mean literally nothing, of note happens. Even if this game didn't use AI art, it'd still be a thumbs down. Don't bother with this waste of time. One of the routes stops being about touhou entirely, and is literally just an OC x Male Reader storyline. ____ I think this is a solid VN with a decent story. But unfortunately, I cannot give this a positive review due to the use of AI. Please do better devs.

**Recomendado** No conozco nada de Touhou pero me gustó bastante, es curioso ver a la protagonista perdida en el Japón actual intentando entender la tecnología y cosas normales como la comida rápida, es entretenido, visualmente está muy bien y la música acompaña de diez, te lo pasas bien de principio a fin sin tener ni idea de la franquicia, vale la pena jugarlo

It's a solid game, with a well crafted story and well developed characters. Even though I'm not very familiar with Touhou, I was still able to enjoy it, and in a way, it sparked my curiosity to learn more about its universe. It's always nice to come across projects like this that clearly show a genuine passion for telling their own stories. P.S. Reimu needs a giant plush bow.

10/10 I Saw Reimu face in picture #4 and decided "I HAVE to own this game/visual novel." It changed my life. I now have friends and family who love me. I never thought I could find so much joy in life. Thank you developers for this amazing experience. I will share this with all whom I cherish dearly. Seriously though, I really enjoyed it. Let's do a Marisa one next time.

There aren't many games that touched me like this, and even less Touhou works that involve characters in the Outside World. Even though some dialogue feels like it was written by AI which I normally don't mind, the constant references to smell kind of makes it too obvious, I did enjoy it.

Disclaimer: If you care about AI ussage skip this one. Images and music are AI generated (and propably more). Not realy much to be said. Its a somewhat generic story with a few Touhou chars mixed in. Artwork is fine (again AI generated) and dialogue/script is servicable. It has no voiceover and some scenes have no music for no real reason. Takes about 5-6h to 100%. All in all 5/10. Maybe a bit "expensive" for the amount of AI used.
