All On Board!

In reading other reviews I didn't know what to expect regarding the controls, but the experience felt surprisingly smooth and not clunky at all (devs probably improved this). It's also way more immersive and cozy than I expected, you play inside custom environments for each board game and it does feel like you're around a real board game table.

I love board games, but nowadays it’s hard to get everyone together in the same place. Being able to play in VR with my friends while everyone stays at home is just awesome. Really recommended!

As a board game fanatic I was pleasantly surprised by this game! Controls felt natural. It was a true chill board game night because only one of us purchased the DLC for everyone to join (of course as long as all your friends have the base game to join in the first place haha).

I honestly have been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to figure out if I should mark this review as positive or negative. You really need a neutral button, Steam. I suppose if I could rate this game out of 10, I'd give it a 6. I guess I should just start writing and see what falls out of my head... I played this with friends last night. The social aspect was great! I also really like how each game gets its own custom setting that's themed based on the game. So, yeah, boardgames. Boardgames rock! This game suffers from a lack of options, though. Even if you buy all the DLC, you don't get that many choices. Maybe they are planning to add more in the future. I hope so, but honestly for the price of everything, I just am not super impressed. The interface is absolutely awful. It's hard to interact with menus, game objects, and other players. We played Aye, Dark Overlord last night and I was the overlord. It took me a good 10 minutes to figure out how to give another player a withering look. I'd point at a player and it didn't seem to matter. Other players were having trouble interacting with the game pieces (picking up cards, and putting the cards in the portal in…

This is a interesting idea. I've played other tabletop sim style games, so this is a cool addition to the family. I appreciate the avatars as well, as it's something I felt was missing from other sims. I look forward to trying out different games with this. So far it's looked good!

I never thought playing board games in a VR environment could feel so physical. Interactions with fellow players feels natural (even though the avatars have their limitations), and the game components behave just as they should. A great find!
