Settled on a dystopian future, Alone in the Crowd is a humorous puzzle simulation investigative thriller, where you use a weird variety of gadgets to satisfy this mysterious, self proclaimed friendly AI character.Confused and scared, you wake up in a strange room filled with all kinds of machinery.
You can't remember what happened, but this secret messenger starts helping you.
There's a lot of questions you want to ask him, but first, he needs your help.
Equipped with surveillance technology, you´re asked to search for specific citizens from the "Box".

got softlocked 2 hours in. no way to fix this other than restart the entire game. gave it the benefit of the doubt cause its a pretty fun game otherwise and decided to restart the game. i couldn't even get the point i was at before being softlocked again. wont fool me 3 times6 found this helpful

not too far into it, but the premise is intriguing, will update. be aware of color gradient differences when looking for people to ID; certain colors are a bit washed out and may appear lighter/darker than they actually are when filtering.2 found this helpful

[/h3] The concept is cool — instead of earning money, you get the right to ask questions to figure out what’s going on. The problem is, after a while, the slow pace makes you stop caring about the story, and you just want to finish it. [b] It takes about 6 to 10 hours to complete. [/b] On the bright side, the game is visually beautiful and unique. If you’re looking for something different, relaxing, and a bit zen to play at night, it’s worth a shot. Phenomenal game about gathering intelligence that never stops revealing it actually simulated more and more of a full civilisation just so you could snipe someone 7ft tall when they're five steps away from their apartment one minute after curfew. Technically impressive, compelling gameplay, intriguing story, excellent atmosphere. Well worth the price.
