AMEDAMA

The game is fine. As most cross-genre games "AMEDAMA" is, IMHO, subpar in each and every aspect compared to the one-sided games, (It's a mediocre visual novel, mediocre time loop adventure, mediocre action game, etc. ) but the whole mix has its own charm.

Fun. Could use more depth. Storyline very typical ACQUIRE/WotS which is great!

An absolutely stellar time look game with a really good combat system based around parrying. I say this as someone who does not like parrying, but this one is both accessible (after a while anyway) and fun. The art is beautiful. I don't think the moment-to-moment dialogue is anything special, but the overall story was pretty neat. I also think the routes were done nicely adding up to a pretty awesome final section. If you're a time-loop fan don't skip on it. If you're not - you might still want to check it out honestly. Cons: Really only one. You can't jump around the timeline so it you want to go to a route where you made a bad turn at the end of it, you have to replay all of it. It's not a massive time committment, but it is annoying.

Nice, pretty fun! I was looking for games where you see the same scenario from the perspective of multiple characters (and ideally where this is used as a story or gameplay mechanic); this isn't quite that because it's always Yushin, but allows him to see the same event multiple times while possessing different characters. I had fun following the story around and watching everything unfold. Personally I was uninterested in the combat, but on the easiest difficulty it's very easy to get by. Overall a fun time, would recommend if you think it looks interesting!

tldr; Good story and characters, Interesting but repetitive gameplay, and good music. A game about going around possessing people to save your sister while being stuck in a time loop. The game should take around 25-30 hours if you're planning on doing all the sidequests and going through all the possible branches. Even less if you're only going for the main story. It's overall pretty good imo. The story's fine. It has mysteries for you to wonder about that gets slowly uncovered as you play through the game. However, the routes does have some inconsistencies, like the protagonist acting surprised at a revelation even though it has already been revealed in a prior route. The characters are good, relevant to the story, and I find nearly all of them quite interesting and lovable. Sadly, due to the length and the nature of the story, I find that they don't really get fleshed out enough, as you don't really get to spend much time with them before you move on to another character route. I really liked this game. The combat is pretty simplistic and there are some awkward moments where characters don't react to something that they REALLY should be reacting to, but that's not really the point of the game. This is a game about exploring the same span of 7 days from a variety of different perspectives as you slowly start to piece together why everything is happening. Regret is a big theme of this game, every character (even the most minor of NPCs) carry some kind of baggage with them. It's how people desperately try to free themselves of their regrets that causes all the conflict in this game.
