Fun game with interesting abilities. Big sludge got me good at the end

The Angel might be the highest skill ceiling character I've ever played. That was a meowtastic time.

Great little Co-op roguelike! Challenging battles!

Angels and Demons vs. Aliens is a really strange little cooperative roguelike, and the whole idea is probably what grabbed me first. I am playing as either an angel or a demon, while another person takes the other character, and the two of us have to work together to stop an alien invasion. The setting is deliberately ridiculous too. Heaven and Hell are basically run like corporations, humanity has been kidnapped by aliens and suddenly an angel and a demon have to work together because neither side has anything left to judge. I like that the game does not take itself seriously because the whole thing would feel much less interesting if it tried to be completely serious. The combat is built around working together rather than just attacking everything in front of me. Each character has their own abilities and playstyle, and I can choose different upgrades during a run to change how my character works. Some abilities are specifically designed to interact with the other character, which means I actually have to talk with my partner and decide what kind of build we want to make. I like this a lot more than simply having two characters who happen to be fighting in the same room. When t…

Very fun game with great gameplay and art design. I can tell a lot of effort was put into this! Highly recommend!!
