Game feels floaty, weapons are bland "blaster-types" which don't feel distinct from one another, enemy design is just re-skinned L4D specials with worse AI and uglier models. Genuinely, just buy Back 4 Blood if you want a L4D rip-off. Dev Chet Faliszek also does nothing but whine about politics on his streams and social media accounts, so good luck keeping up to date with anything their company is doing.5 found this helpful
☄️ Well, this is truly the closest thing to L4D, but players haven't given it a chance, which is a shame. With gradual content updates and polish, this would've been a solid project. Still, I wasn't expecting anything special, but it's fun! Guns, temporary upgrades, special aliens, even the extra modes - everything works as it should. The retro-futuristic space environment looks great (and I'm not even a big fan of that!) If you have someone to play with, this is a not that bad buy (especially with a big discount). It's possible to play solo, but the AI can be a bit odd at times, though teammates aren't useless (it's been worse, even in bigger titles). Of course, this is a modest game by the standards of the genre. It should have been released much earlier and not been abandoned, but calling it bad is a really big stretch.3 found this helpful
This game is really not fun and feels very unfinished.1 found this helpful
i buy it for 1 euro and i want my money back
A very enjoyable game! This isn't going to make you never want to play Left 4 Dead ever again, but it is very much worth its price tag (especially on sale). I found the AI to be less annoying than in Left 4 Dead, and I think the gun-play was decent, the game ran pretty well on my mid-range build from 2021/2022ish. I really enjoyed how some of the levels look, the first episode really clicked with me visually for some reason. I would say that Left 4 Dead has better levels, but I mean this is a game made by a small team, not Valve. I think too many people come in expecting a Left 4 Dead killer, and then when it's not better than a triple-a game, they get disappointed. This is in many ways like Left 4 Dead, but it does some things different, some things worse, some things better, and for 2.50 on sale or 10 bucks off sale, it's a fun time. This is a game that I will be coming back to, like Left 4 Dead 2, and such. The game lacks polish in places, it feels a bit unfinished, but it's a good time, I hope it'll get updates in the future.
It's an ok game.
