Feels unfinished and abandoned by the Developer. Also it looks like multiple of the very few reviews are fake to make the game seem better than it actually is. If I was at an actual arcade and used a quarter for this game it would've felt like I got ripped off.

Mechanically this game works just fine, but visually it is a mess of blinding confusion of flashing lights--the kind that should come with a safety warning. Text flashes on the screen so fast it's barely readable and you hardly have time to blink between waves. For some reason shots come out of the back of the rocket instead of the nosecone like most games. You don't get a moment to try to understand the rules or what's going on before you lose or go to the next wave. The GUI menu is confusing and looks like a default font. The banner screen literally tells you the game is unfinished and to expect updates, but there is no sign of an update ever happening. (I wonder if the author lost the source code?)

At first glance, ARCADE seems like a simple game, but don't be fooled—it's anything but easy! The game is packed with challenges that will keep you on your toes, and yes, there will be many deaths along the way. But that's part of the fun! The drive to improve and beat your previous score is incredibly compelling, making it nearly impossible to put the game down. It's instantly addictive. The visuals are vibrant and colorful, which adds to the overall excitement and energy of the game. The bright, dynamic graphics make every session visually stimulating and enjoyable. One of the highlights for me is the inclusion of achievements. They add an extra layer of motivation and give you something to strive for beyond just surviving. The game is also reasonably priced, especially with a discount, making it a great value for the amount of entertainment it provides. A standout feature is the local co-op mode, which allows two players to play on one screen. I played with my son, and we both had an absolute blast.
