About Assembly

Assembly is an incredible puzzle game, where your main objective is animal reconstructing from pieces.
This is a family friendly game with cartoony casual graphics for all ages.
But Assembly is not regular puzzle game, it is a 3D puzzle where you need to use your dimensional vision.
Gameplay could not be easy but it is 100% interesting and addictive.
Game contains 21 levels with about 100 pices in everyone.

I built the zebra The way the light and shadows are, I couldn't see the stripes on the pieces unless I was angled directly at them. Similar problem with seeing the holes in which to place them. If you drop a piece in the shadow you have to hunt for it cause you can't see pieces dropped in the shadow There are a lot of small pieces. A piece was clearly missing from the right ear, but said piece did not exist, and puzzle completed without it. The cursor is sluggish, and you have to hold the button to keep hold of the piece, and use Z to raise and Shift+Z to lower it. I'm personally not great with depth and found the controls a bit clunky to work with. Rotating the view up and down, for some reason, messes with the in and out.

Props for completing a game! The 3D jigsaw thing is a cool idea that lends itself well to a relaxing gaming experience. A welcome feature would be a save system, which, in its simplest form, could simply save a series of bools for whether each piece is placed or not. Since vectors can't be Json serialized, you can also store coordinates by storing the x, y, and z components as separate floats. For example, leftNostrilX, leftNostrilY, leftNostrilZ. There's also an issue with pieces falling through the ground, which makes the puzzle unsolvable. This can be resolved a few ways. If you implement the save feature, the player can exit the puzzle, then re-enter, and the unplaced pieces will be back in their default spots. Or, you can check if pieces are below ground height, and if so, respawn them at the default position. There should also be a way to check for collisions more often, so the piece can't pass all the way through the ground between collision checks. Still, I appreciate the imagination in this early effort, and I hope you keep developing!
