B.A.D. Institute

⠀

B.A.D. Institute attempts to deliver a classic, atmospheric first-person survival horror experience set in a creepy boarding school, but spending exactly 30 minutes inside this client proves it falls flat due to total mechanical incompetence . You play as a student named Háo who awakens in the abandoned Brightwater Art & Design campus, completely overrun by aggressive, distorted creatures .The interactive loop is extremely brief and can be cleared in a single short sitting, but the experience is ruined by immediate technical issues . Your only line of defense is a mobile phone tool used to flash and stun roaming monsters yet the tracking physics frequently fail to register, turning tense stealth moments into an annoying trial-and-error chore. The community's complaints are entirely justified—the game features an absurd audio layout bug that blasts full-volume sound effects completely into your left ear with absolutely zero setting sliders in the main menu to turn it down Furthermore, simple actions like spamming buttons can accidentally crash the active Steam overlay . While it is a free-to-play indie title that avoids cluttering your showcase with incomplete tracking achievements…

This game is very appropriately named. The device that is supposed to repel the enemies doesn't work. And the voice acting is laughable.

just lacking.
