About Battle Ion
For generations your peaceful home planet Arcana has existed in harmony with its neighbors. But one fateful day the Krollarians attacked. They began warping hostile ships into orbit around your peaceful planet overwhelming and destroying all its defences save for one orbital station.
As commander of that station, use in-game virtual reality (That’s right, virtual, virtual reality!) to survey the battlefield and target enemies. An easy to master, gaze based system allows you to effortlessly target and attack incoming hostile ships with a quick glance and pull of the trigger.
Aiding in your defense of the station is an upgradable automated turret that unleashes a storm of laser power at anything hostile that gets to close.
Battle Ion will have you blasting a wide variety of enemy ships, hostile space stations and more, while collecting upgrades and shield power. Get your high score on our leaderboards and prove you’re the hero your planet needs.
Battle Ion features
• Lots of enemy ships with different attack styles
• Fast paced space combat

Battle enemy spacecraft from your battle station, it's ok but not my type of game. It's more polished than a lot of similar indie VR games like this. Ok for high score hunters I found it got boring fast. Probably should be a $1.99 game so buy on sale or in a bundle if into these type of VR games. Recommended for those who like these VR games but for everyone else, nothing to keep you coming back. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/WHHMQuDQUKo4 found this helpful
It's fun but aiming with the headset is a poor man's method.3 found this helpful
+Interesting concept -Badly done interesting concept -Bad controls -wonky gameplay 1/5 Great idea very poorly executed, feels like they were going for a missile command in 3d space type feel, however it was completely ruined by terrible controls and poor development choices. I wouldn't recommend this at all. If you liked this review Click here and follow for more reviews of VR titles. Not a bad little game! I picked it up as part of a bundle, and went in not knowing what to expect. You play as the commander of an orbiting space station, looks like the Death Star, fighting off waves of enemy attack craft. You unlock weapons as you go along – by wave 15, I had three, so I’m guessing that’s all of them. They definitely have different uses: The laser fires quick, but does no auto-seeking, and does little damage. Good for the kamikaze type attackers. The missile (and hyper missile) do way more damage, but has a much slower rate of fire. Use these to take out the capital ships! Your battle station has an auto-turret, which is weak until fully upgraded – again, by wave 10, it seems I had it fully upgraded. Pros: Decent graphics, good sound effects and music, it runs smooth and stable. Cons: Starts off slow, until wave 10 or so, then gets pretty hectic – you’ll be swinging your head all around, the enemies attack from literally any angle. Overall, not a bad game, but you’ll probably see everything it has to offer within an hour. Thumbs: UP!
