About Best Month Ever!
Take part in a roller coaster of emotions with Louise embarking on a road trip of a lifetime through the late 1960s USA, trying to show her son Mitch how to navigate the often cruel modern world.
Telling good from bad was never easy, all the less when you're a single mum in her late 20s with a clever 8-year-old under your care. Each choice you make in the crucial few moments we all know may change our lives for good in a split of a second, influence what kind of person Mitch turns out to be and what values shall guide him once he becomes his own man.
Find clues as to why Louise’s life is what it is today, take crucial decisions no other person would be strong enough to stomach, and show Mitch what he needs to see in order for him to become independent, suave, and brave enough to conquer the day.
Your decisions REALLY matter! To keep track of Mitch’s growth as a person, each choice you make adds positive or negative points to three key statistics: Righteousness, Confidence, and Relations. These influence which type of ending Mitch will reach at the end of the game - there are 9 unique endings in total!
The 1960s were tumultuous in more ways than one - the Summer of Love, the Vietnam War, the survivors and the losers of the great upheaval in history.
Canned Heat was “Going Up the Country” while Bob Dylan asked “How does it feel” to have no home and live on the street.
Travel across the country and meet a plethora of characters that may help or may dissuade Louise from her goals - including the most controversial groups many thought long gone.

It'll Be The Best Month Ever! is a complete collection of 29 beautiful, expressive, folk, country and jazz-inspired melodies prepared by the composer Jędrzej Bączyk (Pan Jędras). The stunning, nearly 80-minute original soundtrack is an excellent addition to the narrative adventure game, creating the musical soundscape of the main characters' journey across the 1960s USA.

nice and original game and journey, definitely something different than most titles.. ending brought tears to my eyes.. If you look for a good story without many annoying puzzles or irrelevant choices this game is for you. Story is not very long but you will immerse in it and enjoy it.1 found this helpful
It’s the classic "it could have been great but.." kind of game. The narrative is powerful and carries the whole experience, but there’s something missing - that spark that would have made it unforgettable. The choices matter, but only up to a point, unfortunately. My verdict is still positive, though, because I can’t help but see a bit of myself in this fierce yet fragile protagonist... and that made it impossible not to empathize with her. Anyway, the FULL price remains hard to justify.1 found this helpful
A wonderful game where you experience [spoiler]the last month a woman has to live due to a disease that is terminal and her pursuit to find a home for her son[/spoiler]. I can see this not being everyone's cup of tea, and that is ok! But if you are a fan of games like Road 96, I believe you will have a fun time with this one too! It's a point and click that focus a lot on the relationship between mom/son and how they learn to grow and experience life as time moves on. There isn't much tension or moments where you feel like you are on the edge of your seat but throughout the game I couldn't help but want to see them both get the best outcome in every scenario they found themselves in. Learning about the mom's backstory made this game so much more impactful, and I believe they showed in a very realistic way how prominent racism and discrimination was present in that period of time and still can be see in today's age. I loved the characters, the art style, the story and truly think this game was absolutely fantastic!1 found this helpful
This is an amazing game! The story captivated me throughout the whole experience and I was very entertained through and through. Although, the worst aspect of this game is the voice acting in my opinion, Louise is good, but most other characters sound like they're just reading off of a script, not like they're actually talking. HIGHLY recommend though.1 found this helpful
