It's not that I don't recommend this game, but I would love to see some improvements before I continue playing again. The best part of this game is the screensaver option, I love running it at night since all my aquariums are no longer in my room. Graphics are decent, placing decor is a little clunky, fish options are good so far. I like how detailed you can see the water parameters, and the fact the water evaporates over time is super neat! However, the water chemistry is frustrating. You can't keep a tank stable for barely more than 24 hours without the pH tanking unrealistically. I've lost schools of guppies from pH drops of 7 to 4 in a 36 hour timelapse. If the tank is wall-to-wall with limestone and other rocks, the pH should not drop so fast like that. Every water change performed was to fix the pH levels, never did I have an issue with nitrogen waste buildup. If you aren't constantly changing the water to keep it from dropping, then you can expect that pH to constantly stress your fish. Speaking of, the stress levels of both the plants and fish feel too constraining. If my temps are slightly off due to the water changes, my cardinal tetras stress levels would rise barely …

- No support since (2024?) Just some guy claiming the rights to the game without updating anything. - Very few fish to select from. Where are my loaches and crabs? - Few plants, none of them floating - Most of these chemicals are not necessary if you're running a good tank IRL and do regular water changes. - The fish colors do not even give away the fishes' health (the obvious thing you would look for) - Clipping issues - The fish will just swim off the screen (full screen) so you can't actually view the entire tank - etc. bugs - You cannot view the tank in full screen without seeing the development garbage at the top and bottom of the screen. Unless you run it as a "screensaver." They pretty much are never going to improve this. Cute for a moment. You'd be better off keeping your own tank IRL. The zen of looking at the tank is taken away by constantly analyzing the tank's details. Both the Vals and the Fanwort are mutually exclusive because of the PH requirements. You can't view the plant, etc. details side-by-side. The Help system is virtually useless. BUT, they did try to deliver in Japanese instead of addressing these issues...

The tutorial worked but after that i was not able to set up a new aquarium for some reason. There is nothing in the shop i can buy, nothing in my inventory i can place, nothing i can really do. There are better aquarium sims on the market that also have a much more realistic price point.

Wate of money, its full of graphics bugs. When i change resolution the entire menu goes black, When I load a different saved game my tanks goes blank and I cant fix it. I enjoyed it while my tank worked but once the tank went blank im now over it.
