Pretty graphics, crappy gameplay. Has potential though.

Sunk. Alright a bit of a note before we begin. This isn't really a game, but more or less an interactive wallpaper disguised as a game. I won't be reviewing it as a normal game, but more overlooking it as a whole. So I'll begin by saying that I personally always liked staring at aquariums, fish tanks whatever you want to call them. It's very relaxing and soothing, so when I was granted a chance to try this out I was intrigued, but very quickly I was disappointed by the experience. Like most other users have already described in the user reviews, there's just not much here. The visuals are very bland, the 3D rendering isn't that good, audio design is obnoxious and the worst part is that customizing your tank is incredibly basic and barebones. There's like a few different options for each category that barely make a difference, you can't even place them where you want properly and there's multiple fish that all look the same with different names that are there to pad out the list instead of actually designing a good variety of fish to place in the tank. Verdict: Generally speaking this isn't really worth the money, even on sale. Considering the customization is very barebon…

It was fun for about 15 minutes. The problems for me were: You are too limited in placing objects such as plants and decorations. You can't place multiple plants and decorations. This would be a great sandbox aquarium if it addressed those issues and had a ton of extra content. Fix these issues and I would pay much more and be satisfied. Just not enough here to hold my interest. Nice try though.

Let's begin with the fact I don't mind watching digital fish on a screen for entertainment, I don't even care that it has a cartoony art style - I find it relaxing without the maintenance and expense of a real tank. The sprites for this however follow the same pattern for every fish, there's no algorithm to change each individual fish's sprite path - making it very unrealistic and not fun to just watch.

Ten minuets in and I'm honestly a little disappointed... You can't actually tweak all the aspects of the game like the description leads you to believe...the fish are nicely rendered yeah but their motions are stiff. Decorations and such are lacking in that you can't place multiple items and click/drag them to a better spot, no distinction between salt and fresh water fish/decor aside from judging how they look...not only that but it looks like a primary school child designed the food options... All in all, not worth the money...if I could return it, I absolutely would... Hopefully the devs plan to update or fix their description or actually tweak the game to be what they say it is...
