About FISHERY
A creative aquarium simulation and management game.

Almost all the fish and plants that are in the game are created to imitate their real life counterparts. The art style of the game is very stylistic but we aim to make every species recognizable to people familiar with the hobby.

Quite often male and female fish of particular species have differences in their body shape and colour patterns. It is important to us that we show this in game even when the differences between male and female are very subtle.

Every aquarium can tell a story. Create dramatic rocky landscapes, thick aquatic jungle or even a scene showing the rusting carcass of a sunken machine. It's up to you to create the unique world that your fish inhabit.

It is not only fish that can live in an aquarium. Populate your ecosystems with animals that crawl as well as swim.

Create a sense of mystery, awe, curiosity or just simple fun with our simple but powerful lighting tools.

The substrate is an important part of any aquarium. It can be sculpted to make a dramatic landscape for fish and plants to inhabit.

The environment that your aquarium sits in can be key to bringing your creative vision to life.

You will know if your fish are happy and contented in the habitat you have created for them because they will have lots of babies.

New update utterly ruined the game, i cant set water level anymore, I hate the new money system, and deleting, multi selecting and other aspects are almost impossible to figure out, this game was much easier before the big update and i actually had fun but then they removed and deleted all my saves for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ new update. please DEVS IF YOUR LISTENING change it back to the old version style. MAINTAINING THE FILTERS AND OTHER THINGS is SO tedious and unnecessary. I used to play this game and let it run in the background while i work but now i cant let it go for 5 minutes without the heater and filters malfunctioning accidentally causing a fish mass extinction where I cant even get rid of the dead bodies.14 found this helpful

Game changed so much since I bought it. Much worse than before.
A very cute, very relaxing game. It does cater more towards the hardcore aquarium fans, though, who're more in it for the love of the craft and less looking for a game. There's no goal, no end-game other than having a successful fish tank with happy fish, which isn't a bad thing. I'm not fish-technical enough to comment on how realistic the game is, but it is definitely an aquarium game, nothing more nothing less.
I can't recommend this game in it's current state but I will give it a thumbs up for the potential it has. I've always wanted to play a game where I can just design aquarium and have free range on what I want to add and how I wanted things to look. The game is only playable as a sandbox without restrictions but trying to play with rules activated is absolutely unrealistic and unplayable. IRL I currently have more than 60 shrimp thriving in a planted 10 gallon. In this game they would die within 10 seconds because of oxygen and waste build up and its just ridiculous. But if the Devs listen to the players and make changes I would recommend this to anyone who loves fish.
Best cozy aquarium game. Period.
