About Bloodzap
From new indie developer Void65 comes BloodZap, a turn-based card battler focused on discovering powerful ability combinations. A compact yet engaging game, BloodZap is designed for players who enjoy tactical thinking, persistent progression, and quick, satisfying gameplay. In BloodZap, you start with 10 neutral cards, each capable of holding two of the 6 different types of boosts. Combining boosts allows you to create unique cards and powerful attacks. Experiment with different combos (whether it’s freezing and poisoning an enemy, or adding Shock (spread damage) and Slice (critical hit) to your cards) and find the synergies that work best for you. While BloodZap is designed for quick, rewarding runs, each session offers fresh challenges. Earn XP after each battle to unlock permanent upgrades, strengthening you for your next attempt. Even in defeat, you're always making progress, giving you a sense of growth with each new run.
Key Features:
- Strategic Card Combat: Play your cards wisely to outsmart enemies and overcome challenging waves.
- Card customization: Apply boosts to your cards to enhance their abilities and create new synergies.
- Skills: Spend skill points earned during a run to temporarily enhance specific boosts, adapting your strategy on the fly.
- Shop (permanent): Earn XP to unlock permanent perks, granting small improvements that benefit your future runs.
- Challenging enemies: Battle against a variety of enemies, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
- Pixel art style: Retro-inspired visuals that bring charm and character to the game.

I played the demo of BloodZap a while ago and already liked the concept -----> the mix of tactical card combat and quick, satisfying runs really works well. Now that the full game is out, I think it delivers exactly what it promises: short but engaging sessions, cool ability combo. The price feels totally fair for what you get. Solid little strategy game overal :D.2 found this helpful
