About Blood Card 2: Dark Mist

Dark Mist is a card game that combines elements of the roguelike deckbuilder genre with enemies that appear in waves. Defeat monsters and level up during battle to keep yourself going.

About this game:
● Your health is equal to the number of cards in your deck. Every time you take 1 damage, the enemy takes 1 card. If your deck is exhausted, the game ends.
● Enemies come in rows of three (and later four). Carefully plan your attacks to line up enemies and knock them down. Otherwise you may be overwhelmed. You need to carefully determine the order of killing monsters, which will impact on your later actions. Defeating enemies in a wise order will make your later battles easier. Failure to do so may result in your sudden defeat.
●There are three types of cards in the game: attacks, skills, and curses. Being defensive is not an option against the the evils of the mist. Attack quickly and desperately to survive.
● Gain exp and level up to add new cards to your deck as you defeat monsters.
● We have prepared six classes for you to experience. Each class has a different way of fighting, and each requires exploration and experience to use effectively.
● More than 400 cards, 158 props, 42 events, 15 bosses, and 84 different kinds of monsters are available.
● In addition to the normal game mode, there is a Custom Mode and the Daily Challenge.

Probably yes, but more on neutral side. Game is abandoned and is a bit repetitive, so I do not see much of replay value. Still, basis behind it is pretty solid and while some heroes are simply better (Bugmaster, you are bit too strong), each hero has unique cards, You fight 5 waves of enemies and if you beat them, you have beaten the game. Passable 6/10, I do like card games.

This deckbuilder has some quite unique mechanics.

Don't be put off by the slightly clunky looking interface and aesthetic, beneath that is a seriously good deckbuilder with some unique ideas and good flow.

I've Played a lot of rougelike deckbuilders and I have to say this is a unique one tha I'm really enjoying. You have a row with up to 4 enemies at a time. You have no health bar but inseated a Life(draw) pile and a Block(discard) pile. When an enemy attacks and does damage they instead take cards from your block pile first then your life pile second and put it under themselves. In order to get them back you have to defeat the enemy (or use some other means). If You have no cards left In your Life, Block and hand you lose. As you defeat and enemies another drops downuntil there is nothing left. As you defeat enemies you gain experience and level up earning anew crad from a choice of 3 or skipping and taking gold. Some enemies also drop relics. There are 5 floors with a shop inbetween. There is 6 different charcaters with vasly different play styles.

It's an interesting take, and I got it for $3 on sale. The gameplay takes a little more forethought and planning than other deckbuilders, so this is a good tickle to the brain. I think if you can get it for $7 or under, it's a game worth giving a try. It's not the best out there, but it's unique in the approach and not that bad.
