Blue Wednesday: Prologue

This game could be a hidden gem, but it's hard to say as it's only the prologue, but what I've experienced so far is promising. We play with Morris, a jazz pianist who hates his job and would rather chill at home in bed listening to his records. When we play the piano, it can happen that our stupid neighbor complains again, I mean which bedroom musician doesn't know that, while other tenants trample, slam doors or watch TV very loudly, it's always us musicians who disturb others. Visually, I think everything is designed very nicely, it has a certain charm and the music also seems to be in tune with the game. However, some of the mini-games are boring or a little annoying, and there are some very strange bugs around the game mechanics and some dialogues seem also very strange and inconsistent. But Blue Wednesday is still cute though and that's why the game remains on my wishlist and at some point I'll play the whole game. "Blue Wednesday: Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Blue Wednesday". Blue Wednesday is a 2D retro adventure game that looks more like a mobile app or something from 1992 rather than a contemporary PC game, which goes a long way to explaining the tepid reception the game got. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Blue Wednesday, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Blue Wednesday: Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out an eye watering (and frankly delusional) FIFTEEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS for the full product, and I don't recommend you do. i like it the music is alright in my opinion it has a good story but low play time if you want to play a game for a little bit play this its free

Great game, I definitely recommend it especially if you enjoy rhythm games and jazz music. The atmosphere is really nice, the music is amazing, and it fits the overall vibe of the game perfectly.
