I don't think I was meant be the inteded audience here. The experience felt like reading through a 13-year old's diary while being subjected to random, iritating flashing lights and occasional high piched sounds. Tapped out after 15 minutes, sorry! I would recommend Blue Suburbia to you if your favourite words are "darkness", "trauma" and "hate".

Blue Suburbia pushes against the norms of games in the best way. Walking Simulators took it back to basics, but this is maximalist in the most poetic of manners.

This was good, really good. Blue Suburbia is a slow-burn mix of poetry and exploration. A little hint but there might be more if you look hard enough. As a stated bias I really like this author's writings. I stumbled across them while I was experiencing extreme hardship in the pre-covid days with "Everything is Going to be Okay" and even though with this story (and even some of the last one) , the incitement may not align with my experiences but holy molly batman the feelings are same to a vindicating level. It might not be for everyone but for those with patience and an a woeful wake behind them, I would kindly suggest giving this a chance. Although I think "Everything is Going to be Okay" gets the point across better for those who know nothing of of what it truly feels to be in "Bottom of the Pit" with no light and no seeable way out. However, this work intentions are different. This story is personal. If that isn't a problem and slow-pacing isn't barrier. Then by all means, take a trip to the heartache and beauty of BlueSuburbia.
