Still playing, planning on getting all achievements so I will update then. They all seem to work so far, but it will take some time. So far has been a weirdly addicting time waster. A lot of variability in builds, a lot of Easter Eggs in books that are fun to find. You unlock new things fairly regularly so you keep the game fresh as well and it tells you how close you are to unlocking specific things. English in the game isn't perfect, but it's mostly understandable enough to not detract too much from the game. There is one book I encountered which asks you a quiz question on ult usage and bosses, and I thought that was pretty neat. Some accessibility with an auto shooter mode, you leave your mouse on the book to shoot. Your book does not move, making this a one handed game. You can set shooting, ult use and shield to left and right click or scroll wheel (up down and click).5 found this helpful
Cute little game, perfect to pass the time. Not a masterpiece, but pretty engaging. Some localization is in order for English language.2 found this helpful
There don't seem to be any english reviews at this time, so I guess I'm first. It's a fun game. It's challenging, there's no guard rails guiding you to higher difficulties, it can be hard right after the "tutorial". For the tutorial it uses the Bible and all choices that go into setting it up for you pretty much give you a decently strong build capable of winning. When you start playing for real, that's not assured, you can put together slop and it'll be a loss...which I'm pretty happy about. Your choices do matter. I'm nowhere near beating this game right now. It's hard. The easy levels are easy, no sweat, but the harder levels...I'm not ready. You need to build up your out of run stuff, the magic colleges have many levels of points to complete. Um. You see the 2nd image up there at the top of the page for the game description? See how it shows the Arcane College? Each college has 10 levels to it, just like that, and unlocking each is 10 ink (received for winning...or much less for losing). It takes multiple runs to complete one college, and though you can beat easy difficulties with an unfinished college, you're not beating higher difficulties without not only using a finished …2 found this helpful
Great survivor, fun mechanics and good variety of "characters" (books) and modifiers. English trad is a bit rough but nothing blocking progression.1 found this helpful
The English translation struggles at some points and it'd do the game good to have a human translator look at context before deciding on what vocabulary is used. But the gameplay is rich with many different traits and combinations & I like the element system. Although weather system feels super out of place and crowded. Mainly because you can only influence it with niche skills I suppose. You already have enough flexible combinations to make it feel interesting, not sure why it needs another system on top of everything else.1 found this helpful
I still haven't cleared all the content and have barely scratched the surface of possible builds. Extremely fun & addicting game. Felt guilty playing without leaving a review. 10/10 (the mahjong book might be a bit OP XD, also a lil laggy when scrolling over it)
