JUMP KING QUEST

The fact that this game wasnt a hit and went under the rader of so many gamers has to be studied.

I hated playing jump king so much, I never thought I would LOVE its sequel. the only reason why I started playing this game was because of a friend of mine being a huge fan of jump king, and I proposed to play jump king quest with him, I was expecting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rage game like jump king was and my friend was kind of the only reason why I ended up playing this game, but the more I played this game the more I was actually starting to enjoy it. First of all, this game is a mix of the jump king and the dark souls formula, which can be very frightening understandably but this game is a lot easier platforming wise than its prequel, that doesn't mean the game forgot where it came from, some jumps can punish the player REALLY HARD if they miss them, but this is rarely as harsh as jump king, and as for the souls-like part of the game, it doesn't just scrap the dark souls formula just to put it into this game, it's inspired from but it's not quite like it. The game tries to do its own thing, its own level system, its own combat system and so on and on. I've put 150 hours (so far) into the original Jump King. This game did not need to happen. This is not Jump King 2, it's a weird souls-like rage platformer set in the same universe. I understand there is a subset of people that might enjoy this game, but I am not one of them.

most evil and cruel game ive ever played in my life ive completed it for the first time in a little over 24h its simply jump king and dark souls (aka really good) you need some guts to get through this and want to keep playing overall the game is very high quality and made with passion so its good just really, really, really cruel and difficult
