I suggest that try the demo before you buy this. - Character hitbox seem to be huge and game likes to spawn ranged enemies quite early on. Caster version will kill the character in few hits and there will be a lot of them. Oh and their projectiles travel a long time. With the hitbox being what it is trying to not get hit becomes frustrating. Enemy damage sometimes felt random or the character can get multiple hits in a row. - I found the leveling up quite slow. Few edits to this review 09/2024: - After early access the game is still really buggy and few patches that have come after that seem to be making more bugs. - The current price for this game isnt worth it in my opinion. - It just isnt fun game, leveling up is slow and now that monster spawns were changed it feels even more slow. Character doesnt feel that powerful. And some enemies do stupid amount of damage to the characters.2 found this helpful
Interesting Vampire Survivor's clone, but aggravatingly rough. For example, character hitboxes are huge, leading to frequent unexpected hits. It's so annoying I felt compelled to leave a negative review. It's got its whole future ahead of it though, so I suspect many of these will be ironed out, but for now let them bake it a bit longer and check back later.1 found this helpful
Fun vampire-survivors-like. I really like the monster blood system, and the catchy tunes.
I like many things about this game. For instance the game-play is smooth and easy. I also like the attack system once the character has leveled up a bit. The game may seem simple, but it can be somewhat difficult too win. Watch out for those bosses. They can be tough to fight. One thing I would like to mention is the game provides on-screen documentation. Thanks devs. I highly recommend all players read this documentation, if only other games did this. In fact the player should spend some time exploring other screens and learning anything that will help. A unique feature is when enemies die the ground will slowly fill with corruption. You may not notice this at first, but the corruption is growing. I give this game a 9 out of 10, especially since the price of the game is quite reasonable. It's a lot of fun for a rogue/survival styled game. I should mention that the game uses unusual game controller input. One example is the need to use the 'B' as the accept button. Only mildly annoying if you play other games that use a more standard input layout.
Solid good looking game, that has very clear gui without bugs, simple gameplay to sit and chill with AMAZING in game music ❤
My first negative review, I've played many roguelike games, so far this one is the worst one, monsters are slow, buggy, weak, very few, you might as well go afk and nothing will happen, around 13 minutes in, first elite or boss idk showed up, got bugged and stopped moving, crazy health, even with all the weapons equipped it took me a few minutes to take him down with out missing 1 hit, it seems like this game had zero testing on the making, because that was the first level and it felt like I was playing a beta,
