Bush Hockey League features 5-on-5 arcade hockey gameplay where players will their opponents to submit through rough and tumble aggressive hitting and fighting. You are expected to contest for the puck by taking the body and hitting your opponents by throwing elbows, shoulder checks, cross checks, hip checks, and dirty clotheslines. Timely hits allow your team to go on fire and inflict further damage on your opponents causing them to drop the mitts and fight. That's right, aggressive hockey is back in town! Experience hockey the way it was meant to be played - line brawls, bench brawls, goalie fights, stick fights, knockouts and injuries, molestation of refs - Bush Hockey League has it all! Win the bouts to fatigue your opponents for good and gain a clear advantage to score goals and win the hockey game. Better yet, injure most of your opponents and you will win the game by way of a forfeit. That's Bush Hockey League - I went to a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out!

Game is fun! It stopped working for me after a Win11 update, AI told me to add a command and it works again! the command to get it working again is -force-d3d9 -windowed -screen-width 1280 -screen-height 720
Won the Finals with a stick fight, would play again
devs abandoned the game and has some random hard crashing..a shame they had something that could rival almost nhl on pc

This is a great game! If you just want the puck to drop and play some hockey, this is fabulous, especially for the price point. It very much reminds me of the movie Slap Shot, which I think is at least part of the intent. It rewards violence on the ice and I love playing a game or two of hockey when I get home from work. I would love to see some more options, like a drafting option in between seasons, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this game.
Old Time Hockey is a great arcade style hockey game for Steam. The story is fun and engaging with different challenges to complete each game. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and addictive. No two games play out the same way. I'm 7 hours into Old Time Hockey and I am still learning new mechanics and methods for beating up the other team. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Steam will ever get any NHL games. But Old Time Hockey is a fantastic arcade option with a cool 70's aesthetic. Great value!
