This game is a lot better than it has any right to be. I'm not saying there is not a healthy amount of jank, but I like it for what it is. It reminds me of bloodborne both aesthetically and in things like level design. If My biggest criticism is that I really don't like the walking animations of the protagonist. I think they should be a lot more refined and feminine.5 found this helpful
i kinda like it, it remind me of old PS3 era games style. However, the problem is that it has a lot of glitches. i hope the developer fix them soon. specially the ones when you use stairs or ladder to second floor or something4 found this helpful
This game is really good. You can actually combine your weapons at least the white and black butterfly swords which was really cool. The game has been updated and feels and looks much better then when I first played this. worth the 10 buck price tag all day.3 found this helpful
This is actually fun. This is a real game. Combat is fairly standard for a Souls-like. I do like the weapon variety, skills, and items to keep things interesting. Weapons can be switched quickly so you can adjust your approach more-or-less on the fly. Very early on you get two swords, so one-handed and dual-wielding obviously, but they can also fuse into a twinblade thing while attacking which is a nice detail and cool as hell. There's also sneak attacks and back attacks which award patience and positioning. Don't go thinking it's buttery smooth - it's not. This game is a janky time capsule from another era. Some animations are absolutely wooden. Some attacks have weird hitboxes or short tells, so I'd find myself saying "Eh? That hit me?" or "Welp, was never gonna dodge that". It's nothing egregious though. Mostly I died because I played bad, not because the game was unfair. The game has some amusing quirks, like the volume defaulting to 0 on first launch, so the game is dead silent until you turn it up in the menu. It has the DNA of an amateur dev's first commercial project. But they are very responsive and still improving the game 6 months post-launch, so I respect the p…2 found this helpful
Though it looks like a cheap Dark Souls copy, it was actually pretty fun BECAUSE it looks like a cheap Dark Souls copy. 10/10 would recommend. Play it for the experience!1 found this helpful
This game pretty good... It`s really janky at some moments, but fun as hell. Only at the "King`s shield" boss fight i was not having fun... That was one of the worst boss fights I ever played.1 found this helpful
