Dreamscaper: Prologue is the first chapter in the Dreamscaper saga, consisting of the level Home Town and 4-6h of unlockable content. Dreamscaper is an ARPG Roguelite blending elements from brawlers, top-down shooters, and dungeon crawlers. Every slumber is a different dungeon in an an ever-changing world with a multitude of unique events and challenges.

Personally, I thought it was a very boring game and it didn't manage to captivate me.
nice chill combat game
Just played the Prologue and this game is awesome. 1 minor issue...aiming. While attacking the character will annoyingly remain attacking the wrong direction EVEN when stopping the attack for a moment to reallign. But seriously...for the gameplay in general, that is minor inconvenience. Awesome game!

Great introduction to the game, devs are very committed. The aesthetics are on-point, the sound effects for attacks and shots landing are meaty. Combat relies a bit heavily on stun-locking but I still had a great time with this and recommended it to many people. I found the demo ages ago, during X-mass I got a ton of new games as gifts and totally forgot about this until a week ago when I re-found the demo still sitting in my library; next thing I knew I had already put 14 hours into a demo! So yes, I know what game I’m buying on pay-day. There is talk of the demo being closed down so if you’re at all interested now might be the last chance for people to just grab the demo and try it, the demo’s free but it’s just under 3GB so that might be a barrier for entry to some. demo is also really out of date, the full game is like this but 10 000% better
