Like the previous "Sixpack", this is a collection of unofficial remakes of games that were on the C64. (The Amiga part of the title seems unnecessary. Maybe some of these games were on the Amiga, but they're all very much of the 8-bit era.) It's quite nicely packaged with a launcher and help screens, although it sometimes uses the German names for keys even when set to English ("Strg"?). Super Drive On: Super Hang-On. The parallax scrolling is pretty nice. The music doesn't compare to the original. I don't remember the other racers being this annoying. Robo Dug: Dig Dug. Weirdly easy and unchallenging. You seem to get an extra life for blinking. Chopper Destroyer: Choplifter. This one isn't too bad, at least it has difficulty settings. Railracer: Trailblazer. Well this is more like it, in terms of being an iconic Commodore 64 game rather than a coin-op conversion. Feels a lot like the original. Moon Jumper: Moon Patrol. No, I wouldn't strongly associate this game with the C64 either. It plays fine. A bit too graphically flashy to really feel like Moon Patrol. The Babar: Barbarian. The moves feel weird to me. Yes it's got the little goblin guy that drags the bodies away. I've …20 found this helpful

THIS collection of C64 & Amiga game remakes is exactly what remade retro classic games SHOULD be! I love this collection and imo this 2nd collection of games is ten times better than his first collection launched just five months earlier here on Steam! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBIOSnkaGNk Every game in this collection is fun to play, feels super responsive, and just gives that good old fashioned retro action game nostalgia! I love, love, love this collection and it's why this collection of games scored a whopping 93% score and made my rare Zaxtors Indie Gold series!6 found this helpful
C64 & AMIGA Classix Remakes Sixpack 2, developed and published by magnussoft, is a nostalgic compilation that brings six classic titles from the Commodore 64 and Amiga era to modern Windows systems. Released in 2017, the collection aims to celebrate the retro gaming era by providing updated versions of games that were once staples of 8-bit and 16-bit home computers. While not featuring the most iconic titles from the period, the compilation focuses on lesser-known gems, allowing both veteran gamers and newcomers to experience these classics with refreshed visuals and sound. The six games included in the collection are Chopper Destroyer Remake, Moon Jumper Remake, Super Drive On Remake, Railracer Remake, Robo Dug Remake, and The Barbar Remake. Each title retains the core gameplay mechanics that made the originals enjoyable while introducing minor graphical updates and compatibility improvements. In Chopper Destroyer Remake, players pilot a helicopter through rescue missions and combat scenarios, combining action and strategic maneuvering. Super Drive On Remake offers fast-paced motorcycle racing across pixelated tracks, challenging players’ reflexes and timing. Meanwhile, Moon Jump…3 found this helpful
